5pm: Welcome to the HFUU North Shore Chapter and Mahalo to our hosts and guest speakers – Brynn Foster

5:10pm: Introduction to Kōkua Learning Farm, Opportunities to Volunteer or Visit & E Ho Mai (make a plate, potluck or suggested donation of $10)5:20pm: Review of Agenda (focus on ‘Resources for North Shore Farmers) & Introduction of Guest Speakers- India Clark

5:20-5:30pm: How CTAHR supports North Shore farmers – Jensen Uyeda 

5:30-6pm: HFUU Intro, Programming and Updates HFUU President, Kaipo Kekona

  • Intro & Updates for Oahuwide and Statewide Events- Kaipo
  • CSC- Kaipo
  • FAM- Kaipo or Anny
  • Organic Certification- Christian

6pm-6:05pm: Brief Intro on other Farm Training Programs, Funding and Resources to Support Farmers- India

6:10-6:15pm: Go Farm Hawaii – Laura or Alyssa

6:15pm-6:20pm: MAʻO Fe’e Internship Program – Akil Kofi

6:20-6:30pm: OACA, FSA or Oahu RC&D, Farmer Funding – Andreanna Kaluhiokalani

6:30-6:40pm: Farm Markets (e.g. Farm Link, Kōkua’s Farm Stand)

6:40pm-6:50pm: Open Mic & Reminders

  • Reminder to sign-up for a membership (at the sign-in table), review the description of board or committee positions and attend the 7/25 virtual meeting to run or vote. 
  • Reminder to sign-up as a farm hosts or with a topic or speaker for future bi-monthly meetings.
  • Invitation to leave a farm business card or flyer
