Monthly Meetings
ALL MEETINGS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
Meeting Schedule: 4th Tuesday of each month.
Meeting Time: Doors open at 5:30pm. Pre-meal pule (blessing) begins around 6pm followed by member announcements. The meeting concludes between 8:00pm and 8:30pm.
Meeting Location: Heritage Hall - Paʻia
Join us every 4th Tuesday of the month at Heritage Hall in Paʻia (see map below) from 6-8PM. HFUU meetings are a forum to network for effective local food production and distribution!
Locavore Potluck
Each month we host a potluck dinner along with presentations and updates on topics of interest to the farming community. Doors open at 5:30pm, opening pule is at 6:15 and the meeting is pau by 8:30pm. During the presentations we will have a free and separate program for keiki. Admission is free, just bring a pot luck dish. If you want a night off from cooking, you can simply make a small cash contribution towards the meal. Either way, please come spend the evening with us.
The locavore potluck is a celebration of local, organic food and community! Enjoy original recipes and powerful discussions on local topics: farming, legislation, environment, community networking, and much more! Bring a dish to share and the potluck is free!
If you do not bring a dish, we kindly ask for donations:
- $10 for members
- $12 for non-members
BYOU– Bring You Own Utensils
This is a waste-free event.
Bring a plate and utensils for dinner or purchase our recyclable sets ($2/set).
Produce Swap
Bring your home grown produce, seeds, or plant starts to share and go home with what others brought. Make the produce swap abundant & fun! Share your produce and knowledge. Please label any items that may be less common 🙂
