Why Should I Join?
Are you concerned about food security, availability of local organic produce, the health of our keiki's, GMO’s, air and water pollution, dependence on large mainland companies, and soil fertility?  These are some of the topics we address.  By increasing our membership numbers, we can show the legislators that our organization is a voice that needs to be heard.

EDUCATION: From youth day classes and summer camps to adult learning sessions, HFUU believes that education is the base of success. Our programs are designed to expand knowledge and develop leadership skills in both youth and adults.

COOPERATION: HFUU offers technical guidance and information for rural and cooperative initiatives.

GRASSROOTS POLICY: HFUU policy is written and approved by our members. The issues that are important to YOU can be debated and become part of the national policy which has already happened. The chair of the National Policy Committee is an Organic Farmer.

INFORMATION: HFUU helps you stay up-to-date with the issues that matter most to you, your family, and your business. Our monthly e-newsletter, issue alerts, and state-specific information will keep you informed.
